Carrie is a compassionate and experienced therapist with a Master's in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor's in Education. With a background in both elementary and post-secondary education, Carrie discovered her true passion not just for teaching, but for connecting with students and creating safe, inclusive spaces where they felt heard and supported.

Carrie believes that everyone has unique perspectives shaped by their lived experiences. Her goal is to provide a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can express yourself freely. Together, you’ll work on increasing your insight, self-awareness, strength, and self-compassion. Carrie listens intently and with empathy, helping you explore your journey and co-create a therapeutic plan tailored to your needs. She’s here to hold space for you, gently challenge you when necessary, and even bring in some humor (when appropriate!) to help lighten the process.

Carrie works from a person-centered framework, integrating a range of therapeutic approaches to meet your needs. These include Narrative Therapy, Somatic Body Work, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), mindfulness, and self-compassion techniques. She is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, ensuring that every session honors your individual background and experiences.

Carrie is especially passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s transitions, with a particular focus on supporting women through challenges such as parenthood, postpartum depression, perinatal loss and grief, and perimenopause. She also enjoys working with post-secondary students and educators, helping them navigate stress, overwhelm, and life changes.

Whether you’re going through a difficult transition, dealing with stress, or simply seeking support, Carrie would love to work with you. She offers both in-person and virtual sessions, creating a flexible and accessible space for healing.

If you’re looking for a therapist who truly listens and meets you where you are, Carrie is here for you.
