Rebecca is a Registered Social Worker with a Masters of Social Work from Carleton University. As a proud member of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, Rebecca integrates a deep understanding of Indigenous culture and issues into her therapeutic practice.
Specializing in individual therapy for children, teens, and adults, Rebecca focuses on trauma— including combat and complex trauma— as well as Indigenous issues, crisis intervention, the impacts of domestic violence, and intergenerational trauma. She is passionate about providing holistic, culturally sensitive care that empowers individuals to heal, grow, and lead fulfilling lives.
With extensive experience across community settings such as the Child Welfare System, schools, and Indigenous support services, Rebecca utilizes a client-centered, trauma-informed approach. She draws on a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Solution-Based Therapy. Her areas of specialty include PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other complex mental health challenges, helping clients navigate their unique journeys toward well-being.
